Pou - APK per Android

Okay, I just want to start off this staff review with a surprising note of how famous this app / game became. You start off as a rock of some sort (a Pou?) and he’s your pet. You have to take care of it and raise it like a gigapet or something. It’s definitely very unique compared to other apps. The team here also felt the same, weird at first but over time… we started to become addicted to it. Something so simply and so basic actually has a deep level of meta-games interlaced. We’re not sure how much more popular this will become or if there will be another sequel, all we can say is that you should try it at least once. See below for the team’s review of the features it provides.

• Overall Growth Progression – As your alien pet, Pou starts off very small. Even though it might take a while to level him up, it does increment. You can also customize him with different costumes and accessories – definitely something that young audiences would love (the kid friendly environment and the kid friendly accessories)
• Minigames – The minigames are your conventional app store addicting games that have been a hit previously. They obviously take influence of existing games but still offer gameplay and replay to the player.
• Meta Game – The meta game here is to take care of your Pou – simply by washing it, feeding it, etc. Basic actions that your Pou will appreciate overtime. The accessories that you unlock are also pretty cool and they persist over time.

Final Thoughts – This game has definitely risen the charts recently and grown in popularity. This growth is mostly with young audiences, however anyone can pick it up and become immersed with the endless minigames or even the extensive metagame. It’s really great for holding contests with your friends – as the staff here recently held one (I did not do well at all).If you’re looking for a new app to try that is way out there – definitely go for Pou (as weird as that sound), you will not be disappointed by your choice.
