Dolphin Web Browser - Adblock, Safe & Private - APK for Android

The amount of mobile browsers out there are a dime a dozen. The TorrApk staff would like to review one of our favorite browsers thus far.
Something unique, yet powerful to keep up with the competition. Meet Dolphin Browser for Android. A sleek, multi-functional browser that is much more than your standard browser. We’ll use today to go over the many features that this software package provides the users in a detailed fashion.

• Speed – Dolphin provides lighting speed to your favorite sites with quick pre-fetching of content before you visit the site itself. We saw a comparable speed test with Chrome, but to other browsers, Dolphin was insanely fast.
• Gesture – A feature that the Dolphin browser offered that we noticed that other browsers didn’t, was the usage of gesture support. A really cool feature is that you can define your own gesture to use for specific events. We thought this was really cool as we defined swipes, circles and other gestures to control our browsing.
• Sonar – We were intrigued at first by Sonar – a voice searching feature for Android that allows you to search with your voice. Pretty standard in modern web browsers, but it’s great to see that Dolphin is with the times supporting this.
• Tabbed Browsing – We noticed that some browsers allowed you to have multiple tabs opened but hid them off screen when they weren’t active. Something that proved to be cumbersome to the user – as they had to manually open up the tab menu and then restore the specific tabs. When we were testing out the Dolphin browser, we noticed that the tabs actually stayed on screen! This was pretty amazing and it was so simple to switch from tab to tab. And if you are a power user like some of the staff here, this comes in handy!

Summary – With so many features and growing (even more with the Add-ons that Dolphin supports), Dolphin is a mobile web browser that is highly recommended by the TorrApk staff. We all gave it a try and want to share our recommendation that Dolphin provides an amazing experience for the user.
